Our mission is to reforest the world. Planting trees is one of the most effective solutions to combat climate change. Through Tree-Nation's reforestation and conservation projects, we help restore forests, create jobs, support local communities, and protect biodiversity. Tree-Nation's platform provides a technological solution to deforestation, which is responsible for about 17% of all climate change emissions. They make tree planting easy and offer support, advice, and solutions to citizens and companies transitioning toward a sustainable future. With 85% of all terrestrial species living in tropical forests, Tree-Nation is dedicated to restoring and preserving these habitats to prevent mass extinction.

We are losing trees at a rate equivalent to 50 football fields per minute as our food systems devastate ecosystems. This degradation predominantly occurs in the developing tropics of Africa, Latin America, and South and Southeast Asia. Here, hundreds of millions of chronically hungry, smallholder farming families unknowingly engage in destructive and short-sighted agricultural practices. These practices further degrade their communities' trees, soil, water, and biodiversity, making them more vulnerable to climate change and more likely to migrate. It’s a destructive cycle.
